To create a large pressure of the pumped liquid, multistage centrifugal pumps are used, the sectional design of which allows increasing or decreasing the pressure while keeping the flow constant. The central-type cast-iron pump is designed to work with a liquid having a temperature of up to + 45 degrees.

One of the conditions ensuring long and uninterrupted operation of the unit is the presence of a backwater of 2-6 meters, which eliminates the dangerous effects of cavitation processes. If necessary, work in hydraulic systems with a temperature of pumped water above +45 degrees, the backwater must be increased.
Such characteristics of the central nervous system pumps, such as the volume of the pumped fluid, as well as the pressure created, are usually in direct correlation with the power consumed by the unit's electric motor.
